About Little Grasshopper’s daycare LLC

The Background

Hello all 👋🏻!    I’m kasie Hopper, director, and owner at Little Grasshopper’s Daycare LLC.  Let me just start by saying I’m a small town girl, that never thought In a million years, I would be making a internet page for my childcare business!     Since I could remember, I was constantly gravitated to holding young children. 💗 As soon as I was old enough to start babysitting around my neighborhood I did, I held down baby sitting jobs all through high school consistently.      Fast forward ⏩ in my life. Now 21years old, I had a child of my own  in childcare, and another one on the way. My husband and I both agreed we couldn’t afford two childcare bills, even on a two income house hold, and find someone we could trust providing for our new infant. 🏠 Making the hard decision to become a stay at home mom.  Staying home with my own children is the most blessed moments of my life. I can honestly say I never missed a moment of their life ❤️.    A opportunity arisen when I was offered to watch a close family members child, full time. To make a little bit of extra money while enjoying the stay at home life with my children. Educading myself to qualify through the state of child care I went from family exempt with 3 kids, to family registered To 5 kids, again to 10 kids registered. Than my last step we bought a home customized to the needs of my childcare to suit being a state certified child care obtaining up to 15 children in my home at one time. This has happened over a course of 8 plus years and counting. And yes! My very first two clients are still with me 💗💗.  Now at 29 My goal is too move my daycare into  a childcare facility.  In the next five years. Looking into the passed, and future as a wife, and a mother to 3 beautiful children, I wouldn’t of changed my mind in staying home, nor taking on everyone else’s children. Like I tell everyone. I  truly understand how difficult it is to leave your child with a stranger, I couldn’t imagine the tough decisions that have been made, But this is why I pursued this line of passion. I know I am that safe person, I know if you decide to go with me your child is safe. Because 9 years ago I needed a me I could depend on with my own children. So I created a me, I created little grasshopper’s daycare, were the biggest complaint is the kids DONT want to go home, were they are fed, nurtured, and not judged. We laugh, we play, we learn, we make mistakes, we make friends, we learn how to communicate. If I could fit all of my success stories on here I wish I could .    Yearly their is a mandated 20 hours of continuingly Expanding our knowledge on childcare, 1 hour is in safety hours. We at little grasshopper’s daycare surpass that requirement. With 15 children I do have two employees that are approved through the state of Oregon childcare. background checked, and FBI checked. That also goes for myself, and my husband.
